Dr. Grant Coleman‍
Dr. Grant Coleman brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for patient care to the world of dentistry. His educational journey began at Saint Louis University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in health management and policy. Throughout his years at SLU, Dr. Coleman developed a strong appreciation for compassionate, patient-centered care, which helped lay the foundation for a successful career in dentistry.

Dr. Coleman earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from A.T. Still University - Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health. During dental school, he excelled in all aspects of generally dentistry. He currently provides a wide range of services, including basic preventive and restorative treatment, crown and bridge, removable dentures and partials, root canal therapy, oral surgery/extractions, veneers, clear aligner therapy, and more!

With core values firmly centered around patient education, Dr. Coleman strives to empower every patient with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their oral health. He takes the time to thoroughly explain procedures, treatment options, and preventive measures, fostering a strong doctor-patient partnership built on trust and transparency.

Outside of the office he likes to spend time with his wife and Labradoodle, Charlie. They enjoy Skiing, hiking, and anything outdoors. Dr. Coleman is originally from Saint Louis and enjoys watching the Saint Louis Blues and Cardinals.

Dr. Claire Coleman‍
Dr. Claire Coleman was born and raised in Lakewood, Colorado. She received a   bachelor’s degree in physiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder before   attending A.T. Still University - Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health where   she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Her interest in dentistry was   deeply inspired by her uncle, Dr. Vance Carlson. and her cousin, Dr. Cade Carlson,   whose hard work and commitment shaped Carlson Family Dentistry & Implants into the extraordinary practice it is today.

During dental school, Dr. Claire developed a passion for surgery, which lead her to   pursue a career in periodontics. She completed her periodontics residency and   earned her master’s degree at the University of Texas San Antonio. During   residency, she received advanced training in surgical periodontal therapy, esthetic   and mucogingival procedures, implant dentistry, and the latest regenerative   techniques.

Dr. Claire combines a compassionate approach with clinical expertise to help   patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. Outside of the office, she enjoys hiking,   skiing, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and dog—staying true to her   Colorado roots. She is proud to carry forward a family tradition of excellence at   Carlson Family Dentistry & Implants, honoring her uncle and the lasting legacy of her cousin.

Dr. Cassidy Mennen
Dr. Cassidy Mennen hails from a small town in rural Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Pittsburgh, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in chemistry, graduating summa cum laude in 3 years. She then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, earning her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. She chose the dental field as she found it was the perfect way to combine her love of science and art.

During Dental School, she was awarded the Air Force Health Professions Scholarship and commissioned into the United States Air Force after graduation. She was selected to attend the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. While there, she received advanced training in many complex dental procedures including: crown and bridge, 3-D imaging, 3-D same day crowns, dental implants, bone grafts, sinus augmentation, root canals, wisdom teeth extractions, intravenous sedation, and sleep apnea.

Dr. Mennen has completed a wealth of Continuing Education including the rigorous fellowship from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Maxi course 2022-2023; Wherle Implant Immersion Course 2023; Gide Surgical Soft Tissue Master Course: PHAST Start Training by Fotona, Solea Laser Certified 2023; Dawson Academy Mini Residency 2024. Dr. Mennen served at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama for 4 years. She was then selected to be the Chief of Dental Services for Buckey Air Force Base in Colorado where she led a team of 5 dentists, 15 assistants and 2 lab technicians serving 4000 active duty personnel for 4 years. She received the Air Force Commendation Medal and Meritorious Service Medal for her efforts.

Dr. Mennen and her family, including her husband Doug and 2 young girls, Shae and Signy, fell in love with Colorado and decided to make Denver their home. She is an avid runner, qualifying for the Boston Marathon 3 times. She also enjoys spending time on the slopes both snowboarding and skiing, and is a few summits shy of her conquest to climb all of Colorado’s 14ers.

Dr. Vance Carlson‍
Dr. Carlson has been practicing since 1983 and he genuinely enjoys interacting with patients on a daily basis. He loves that he has been able to develop meaningful relationships with families he has seen at our office for over three decades.

Originally from Littleton, Dr. Carlson graduated from Arapahoe High School then attended college at Colorado State University in Ft. Collins. Dr. Carlson chose to become a dentist because he wanted to improve peoples’ lives in a meaningful way, and dental work seemed like the perfect balance between a fulfilling professional and personal life.

After earning his DDS from Northwestern University, he completed his residency at Denver General Health. He has been practicing for more than 30 years, and Dr. Carlson feels that it is very important to stay up-to-date with dental trends, materials, and treatments, as well as new equipment and technology. With his commitment to continuing education and his never-ending pursuit of dental excellence, you can trust that you’re in good hands with Dr. Carlson.
